Loved our walking experience on the SWCP
“We can't stop raving about it. The scenery was spectacular, accommodation fantastic. This was our fourth long distance walk over the years, and I would say that this was the best”

Getting There
How to reach your starting point
Travel by By Train
Train Arrival - Fast direct trains run from London, The Midlands and the North to Plymouth station - Fastest trains from London take only 3 hours.
Train Departure - From Brixham regular buses take 20 minutes to Paignton Station or 50 minutes to Torquay. Trains run back to London Paddington from Paignton (most change at Exeter) taking 3 hours 20 minutes OR a similar time from Torquay changing at Newton Abbot Station on route. You can if you want a relaxing end to your holiday also take a ferry across Torbay from Brixham to Torquay instead of the bus.
Those arriving or departing at Dartmouth can travel out in style and use the superb Dartmouth Steam Railway to reach the main trainline at Paignton.
